How large a table do I need?

You will certainly want enough seating to accommodate your family and to throw dinner parties or other gatherings. For a round pedestal table, a 60" or slightly smaller table is ideal for seating six or seven. For a rectangular table, a 60" long design will seat seven to eight, and a 48" table four to five.
